When Gregg Berhalter retired from his professional playing days, Nike and U.S. Soccer wanted to send him off in style. So we created a custom icon system that highlighted key moments in his career and applied them in unique ways to various Nike apparel pieces. Through a series of discussions and impromptu storytelling, we were able to capture moments of personal significance and translate them into meaningful visuals.
